Yuletide (Winter Solstice)

This is to all my Pagan, Wiccan and undecided friends. Have a blessed Yuletide Season.

May this Solstice and turning of the wheel of seasons bring you love, peace and good fortune in the coming year.

Let us welcome the returning sun with hope and joy! And may you never thirst.

I made several friends a Yule Log to burn today:
The Yule Log is an ancient German tradition. It's to be lit on the Winter Solstice and is to burn for 12 hours. No servants had to work while it burned, so they would decorate it and douse it with cider and meade. I burned mine today:

. I enjoyed a glass of wine and a nice dinner and also did another of the Yule Log traditions.

I wrote down the things I did last year that I'd like to forget about; my regrest, mistakes, mis-judgements, etc and burned it with the log to symbolize that it's in the past and it's time to start fresh.

May each of you have a blessed holiday season, whichever holiday you celebrate.
