One small step

I met some friends for bunch this morning and then went shopping before I went to the gym. I didn't want to workout on a full stomach so I went over to the local Target. Out of habit I guess, I walked by the candy aisle and just looked. I read all the labels and decided that my favorite candy had the least amount of sugar, calories per serving and fat:
Ever since I was a kid I have always loved licorice!I could eat a whole bag in a few days. It is 0% fat!! But... the sugar would get me craving more and more and I need to lose those extra 10 - 15 lbs... so I put the bag down and walked out of the store! I made myself be happy about this, I need to be proud that I resisted temptation.

It was time to head to the gym anyway. Had a good workout and even did 45 minutes of cardio!! Its these small steps that count. The small steps like this everyday, that will help me get to my goal.

I applaud your commitment to going that extra bit in the gym.

Doing it myself and it IS making the difference. Little steps - but sustainable steps.

Go you good thing :)
