Woohoo!! I got my Snuggie!!It really is warm and all nice and fuzzy. I can't wait to wear it at an outdoor sporting event and while sitting around a campfire!
The book light is also very nifty!
The other thing that was waiting for me today was a letter from the LDS church.
They acknowledged receipt of my resignation letter, but they're forwarding it on to my local leaders to contact me further about it. They must have missed the part where I asked for "no further contact except a letter confirming that my name has been removed."
They did list the name of the local Stake President and I checked, he did contribute to the support of Prop 8 in California. So I think it's fitting that I mentioned that I was resigning as a direct result of the church's stand against my civil rights.
Kind of makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

I think you made an awful mistake with the Mormons - how much fun it would be to go there, be outrageous and a pain in the neck embarassment to them until they literally push you out the door.
