Today is mom's birthday.
She would have been 77 years old.

I thought I'd post some pictures of her. These first two are her as a baby and toddler in Minnesota.

In this picture she was about 20.
She had moved to Utah to find a mormon husband.

This is my favorite picture of her, we called it her Lucille Ball photo.
She does kind of resembles her don't you think?

This is mom and dad's wedding picture in 1955.

Mom with me in about 1962

Mom loved being a mother.

This was on a trip to Disneyland in about 1972.
Mom was tired from running with 5 children.

This is mom and dad in about 1982.

2007 was the last time I saw mom, she passed away a few days after her birthday.
I love you mom and miss you.
Happy Birthday!

That is a sweeet tribute to your mother. Even though people my not be near us any longer, they never truly leave us.
those were sweet photos
thank you for sharing them with us.
It is really nice to glance at these pictures. They reflect a really peaceful period in former times. Seeing you and your family members’ radiantly happy face, seems to make everything right again present days, far and wide.
I feel she was a wonderful Mom who was always there when you, kids, needed her helping hand, or just a quick fix of your daily issues as an opportunity to walk through another challenge.
The years we have spent in nursery or schools have been the years when we have not very easily learned how look forward patiently to the end of our studies and wait for the adult life with a sparkling anticipation – not only for ourselves, but for the sake of our parents!
But also we look upon these years as a lot of years when our greatest (but childish) thoughts, dreams and disappointments could be shared without fear or risk.
Our talks with our parents have been so full of empathy and understanding, they have been thought-provoking, helpful, and healing conversations sometimes… Altough I have gotten their deepest cares and concerns not always very quickly. :-)
Thank you for sharing.
what a sweet tribute to your mom.
We're NEVER old enough to not wish our Mom's were around........... Nice photo tribute on this memory walk...........
