The new ban prohibits smoking in all indoor and enclosed areas in the city, including workplaces, bars and pool halls.
Warnings are likely to be handed out for the first two weeks while business owners adjust to the new law. But once the initial smoke clears, violators will face a $200 fine.
Finally! I can go out and go dancing or hang with friends and not come home reeking of smoke! Woohoo!

They stopped indoor work smoking a while back here, but JUST implemented NO smokes at bars or restaurants Jan 1. IT HAS been a NICE change..........eating without smoke around you is MUCH more pleasant. Good for Texas! Did Bush take credit for it?
what I really want to see are some laws against smokers throwing their butts anywhere and everywhere.
oooh it burns my bacon..
