When Dallas clocks ticked past midnight this morning it officially become illegal to light up in most every indoor workplace across the city.
The new ban prohibits smoking in all indoor and enclosed areas in the city, including workplaces, bars and pool halls.
Warnings are likely to be handed out for the first two weeks while business owners adjust to the new law. But once the initial smoke clears, violators will face a $200 fine.
Finally! I can go out and go dancing or hang with friends and not come home reeking of smoke! Woohoo!
