Wedding weekend!

If someone had walked past me on Friday night they would have overheard this conversation with my friends:

Friend: "What are you doing this weekend Jim?"
Jim: "I'm going to the hill country for a wedding. Well, I'm officiating at the wedding."
Friend: "WHAT? No way! Really?"
Jim: "Yea, I'm an ordained minister."
Friend: "You're kidding me!"
Jim: "No, I went on-line and became a minister, it's not a Christian church, it's Universal for all religions."
Friend: "WOW, we never knew"
Jim: "Oh, and it's a toga themed wedding!"
Friend: "WTF? Are you serious? LOL"
Jim: "Yes, totally serious! These friends are crazy like me."

I had a great time! Nervous during the ceremony, but they wanted it short and sweet; no "vows" or nothing mushy.

I then changed into my toga for the reception/party.

We ate, sang karaoke and had a few drinks.

And ended up back in the pool!
The only way to deal with the upper 90 degree weather in Texas to to stay in or near water!

This was me from earlier in the day, too dark to take pictures later in the night!

We did bring in the Summer Solstice in a very traditional Pagan way! heehee!
