Born in 1923 he was the second child of my grandparents.
When people see pictures of my dad they tell me how much I look like him. My siblings tell me that I sound and walk like him too.
He married my mother in 1955. They have this thing about 2's and 3's. He was born in 1923, she was born in 1932. When they were married he was 32 and she was 23.
They were married on Nov 23rd. They had 2 daughters and 3 sons.
I was the 4th child and 3rd son.
And the only one of his kids that he got to see being born.
I remember that dad would love to play games and do stuff with us.
He was very dedicated to his church. My parents went on a mission to San Antonio and they both learned to speak spanish when they were in their 60's.
Dad passed away on Memorial Day in 2001. I still miss him.
This last picture is how I most remember him, a very loving and caring father.
I miss you and love you dad.

What a beautiful tribute to your Dad........ Ours was very distant, and it's taken years to appreciate ALL that he did for us, so I love reading a story like yours.
