I started feeling a little puny (under the weather) on Friday, but I had the faire weekend all planned. So I stocked up on the Dayquil and set out for Moody, TX.
Troy had the trailer packed, we threw my gear in and we took off. Weather forecast for Saturday was for clear but cool. The campgrounds were already soaked and muddy from a week of rain, but we found a good spot and set up camp.
Saturday was chilly! Change of plans on the costume, I'm glad I brought the leather jerkin. I was still feeling puny so I didn't get many pictures. But of the 22,000 people there I ran into some old friends that I hadn't seen in a year and we had a great time hanging out. We also met some great new people and had an enjoyable evening around the bonfire after the faire.
Sunday was colder and rainy but we went anyway. Thank god I brought my waterproof cloak! Sniffles were getting worse as the day wore on, but it was still an enjoyable day. We left about 3pm and headed home. I then drove home and went straight to bed. Been in bed all day today. Ugh!
I did manage to video most of the parade that is always done at the faire, so everyone can see the wide variety of people that attend.

Jim, it won't play the video. It says it is "private".
Sorry... try it now.
