In a hurry....

...for what?

My last speeding ticket in early April convinced me to slow down. I had to take a defensive driving course or pay a huge fine that I really couldn't afford. Since then I have noticed how crazy people can be on the road! OMG!

I can see examples of road rage every day. Just last evening as someone was making a left turn through a dark yellow red light at a busy intersection another driver waiting to turn left (when they had the turn arrow) had the audacity to honk at them! The guy running the red light got an attitude and stopped directly in front of the honking guy, and in the middle of the intersection, blocking everyone!

Also, when did it become OK to make a right turn and immediately cross into the far left lane? Is it impossible to turn right and stay in the right hand lane? Judging by the way people drive it is impossible! It's the same when making a left turn, no one stays in the far left lane like they are supposed to!

And tailgating! I had a friend tell me that when someone is ready to hook on to your back bumper, it's fun to wash your windshield, really well! The spray always makes them turn on their wipers too. I did this 3 times to people trying to ride my ass on the way home from work last night.

It's crazy out there... I tell ya!

Does it really make a difference if you get to your destination 3 seconds before I do? What's up with that?

Amen !
I see it all as part of the creeping horror to speed everything up, faster faster faster.

I've said it many of times - speed kills. Kills us physically and spiritually etc.

Slow down, live life.
