Here are three things you need to note for future reference:

Don't plan a "quick trip" to Wal-Mart on the evening of December 23rd ever again!
Don't rub it in to your friends that live 'up north' about the really nice weather we're having in Dallas. It was a beautiful evening here last night with the temperatures in the sixties, (the high during the day got near 70 degrees)! I'm sorry to all my friends living in the northern states, I'm really trying not to rub it in... but this is one reason I love Texas.
Expect weird looks when you tell co-workers that you don't celebrate Christmas, that you're Pagan and that you celebrates Yule. Expect these same people, less than two minutes later, to wish you a Merry Christmas as they're leaving for an extended weekend.
**UPDATE** At 12:30PM on 12/24/09... it's SNOWING in Dallas!

Awww, is it a bad thing to wish someone a Merry Christmas even though I know they don't celebrate it? I didn't think it was.
Christmas has become so secularized and commercialized that it has virtually no religious-ness left to it. IMHO, saying Merry Christmas to someone nowadays is much like saying happy new year or happy birthday.
add to your list:
DO NOT go to the grocery store on 12/24.
DO NOT go to the liquor store (state store, or whatever the place is that you buy your gin/bourbon/vodka) on 12/24.
you WILL be ready to kill everyone in the place before you leave!
snowing in dallas...wow!
I don't mind if you gloat about the temps there now. I love the cold. I'll just remind you how nice it is up here in late July when your temps are well above 100 degrees and the only places human beings can be seen are inside sealed AC environments. :)
Jim, I know exactly how you feel about the MC greeting. What can you do? Glad you got a little snow there. Mixes things up a bit. Lets you feel the cycles.
