Random Question Wednesday

How do you react when someone crowds in front of you while waiting in line?

This doesn't happen to me very much. It's been a while since I've had to wait in line for anything. It's annoying for someone to cut in line in front of you, but it's not something that I get really angry about.

Most people realize this is rude behavior and don't do it. Except for maybe waiting in line to see a new movie and then a whole family will leave one person waiting while the rest of them are doing something else. This is annoying because three or more people will suddenly be in front of you! And they don't think this is rude behavior at all.

Honestly, I may give them my meanest dirtiest stare but I won't say anything... in the grand scheme of life this is not worth the effort of getting upset over.

What do y'all think?

I'm the same. I give them the look of death, but I'd never say anything. LOL.

Umm, I'd tell them to butt out. Seriously, it all depends. I've saved places in line for people myself before. If I already have my seat or ticket or whatever, who cares. But I have been known to speak up.

There was a time when I would get mad about things like this and maybe say something or do something. But as I get older I don't care as much and let things go. It's just not worth it.

it depends on the circumstance and the rude factor - if a person cuts in front of me, I WILL say something. a person saving a place in line for family members may (or may not) rate a comment. also depends on the mood I am in right at that moment - mellow or don't F with me!

I don't see the problem with a guy saving space in line for his family to join him at the cinema. He was going to buy tickets for them anyway, so what's the difference if they are standing there in line with him or standing out of line? The length of the transaction is still the same.

If each of them was buying a ticket separately, that's a whole other thing!

I still sting from when I was in line at security talking to a friend. The woman in front of me turned around and glared and said in a loud voice "DO YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH PERSONAL SPACE?"
