What were y'all thinking 8 inches was? LOL! You think I'd reveal some personal information after posting yesterday's picture? hehehe.
Anyway... it was the record snowfall for one day in Dallas!
This is a view from the gym parking garage at about 5pm yesterday. Downtown never seems to get as much snow as the burbs. But we could see it snow all day long!
Sure enough, by the time I got home there is about 7 or 8 inches on the ground. I know, people from the northern states don't think it's very much... but for Dallas (and the drivers on the road who are CLUELESS) this is a big deal. Mostly because overnight the temperature went below freezing and now the roads are a big sheet of black ice!

As for the snow in Dallas, that's a lot more than we got the other day when we were 'supposed' to get a ton of snow.
