The story behind the picture - #2

I think I get more comments on this picture than almost any other picture of me that I have posted online. So... here is the story behind the picture.

Yes, I took this picture. I used a tripod and the self-timer on the camera.

I love to go camping and don't mind going by myself. One weekend in the summer of 2007 I went up to my favorite area, Lake Ray Roberts in north Texas, and I got a great campsite! I put up the tent in the dark Friday night so I could play and relax all day on Saturday. I brought a small raft and had a few hours of fun playing in the lake. I went back to camp and went into the tent to dry off and I got a wild idea when I spied the tripod. It was too early to start dinner and I was too awake to take a nap, the next thing I knew I was taking pictures. I think the lighting was perfect and I couldn't believe that I looked halfway decent, usually I don't think I'm very photogenic.

I've had more than one person tell me it looks like it could be from a Colt magazine. I wish!! hehehe.
