Scottish Highland weekend

It is the Scottish Highland weekend at the Renaissance Festival. I had friends drive in from Colorado, we had a great day yesterday at the faire and I'm fixin to go back in a few moments. The weather had forecast rain, but it was sunny and beautiful! There were lots of men in kilts! Lots of them in the true tradition of being "regimental" (commando) I know this because you sometimes get a sneak peek when they are sitting down, bending over or in the restroom when all they have to do is 'lift and go'. LOL

I've seen a couple of guys blogging about getting a kilt! I say "go for it!" It does take a bit of swagger and confidence to wear one, unless you're at a Scottish Festival or a renaissance festival then one can feel more comfortable wearing a skirt kilt. And of course, you always get asked about what you wear under it. You then can chose any number of fun responses;

• Nothing is worn, it's all in good working order,
• Get on your knees and find out!
• Your mama/wife/girlfriend's lipstick
• My shoes and socks.
• How warm are your hands? I'll let you find out for yourself.
• (To another man) Same as you only bigger!

Of course watching the highland games are fun too! Watching big burly men throw things around is fun! WOOF!!
