I was driving with a friend of mine and I remarked that winter was so ugly! I mentioned here before that winter is my least favorite time of year, everything is dead and the weather is miserable and cold. This friend told me that I had to look for beauty that is always in the world.
A few days later I was driving to work a little earlier than usual. I realized I forgot something and turned around to head back home, thank God I had some extra time. Turning around caused me to head east. What I saw was this beautiful sunrise in front of me.
The trees silhouetted in the morning sun is quite beautiful, in my humble opinion. You wouldn't see this sight if the trees were in full leaf.
I guess there is beauty in the winter.

Sunrise is my favourite and I'm fortunate to live a few blocks from the Atlantic and the opportunity to see it every day.
