I loved geography! I still love it.

I know all the states and their capitals. I'm not as good with countries and their capitals, but I love learning and knowing about other countries.
I love looking at an Atlas and Oh My God, don't get me started with Google Earth! I go "virtual" sightseeing on there a lot.

I think that because of my love of geography I love to travel. I have been in 47 states! If I ever won a lottery I would travel the world! I love to see how people live in other countries and see the scenery they see.
What is a subject you loved in school? And why?

I like biology which alway tells me the great facts of the nature.
I hated history in high school. In college I was kind of forced into taking a history class (the other classes I wanted were already filled). After about the 2nd class I realized I was really loving it. The professor was fantastic, and I think that was a big part of why I loved it. Now, I cannot get enough of history.
I like geography now, but hated it in school. It is sad how bad teachers can ruin a perfectly good subject.
I loved biology in high school, but mainly because I had a HUGE crush on the biology teacher. ;)
I like science. Mainly because I had a really hot 8th grade science teacher that wore very thin slack without underwear and would stand near my desk during class. When I went off to High School, he sent me a letter, saying he wanted to fuck me! Loved science ever since!
english - loved and still love to read anything I can get my hands on.
and geography also. I have been to 40 of the 50 states, and 5 foreign countries. if I cannot travel physically, I can travel via reading about another country/area.
I loved learning in general. Mathematics was my downside. however, I think I would enjoy it immensely now. Especially trigonometry.
I was always quite the fan of geography and other cultures when I was in school.
Very "escapist".
