Two-Steppin

I love to dance!

Y'all should know that about me by now... I've been feeling the need to get out on a smooth wood dance floor, get a hot man close, hear some music that makes you want to move, then fall into a nice rhythm as you move as one around the floor.

I love to two-step! I'm bi-directional... meaning I can lead and follow. :-)

Many many years ago I learned to ballroom dance at BYU. When I moved to Oklahoma City and went to my first country western bar and saw people two-stepping I knew I could do it. But I made myself learn to follow. I stumbled and stepped on a few toes, but I eventually learned. It's nice to give up some of the control and be led around the floor lost in the music. Then I finally let the secret out of the bag that I could lead.

I don't go out dancing as much as I'd like. And now that I'm in a much better mood and know a hot man that can dance, I'm itching to get back out on the dance floor.

The following song is a great song to dance to... hopefully soon I'll get out there. If anyone finds themselves in Dallas, chances are you'll see me out on the dance floor at the Round Up Saloon.

Enjoy the song and the words... and keep on dancin....

Interesting timing on that post.... ;-)

It was another Chicks song that made me tweet that message earlier: "Tonight the Heartache's On Me".

Next time I'm in Dallas, I'm expecting lessons from you.

I used to two-step, I used to love it. I don't think I have done so in a decade or two. I was a leader - I even won a few silver medals! what fun it was.
