It's that time of year when the "resolutioners" fill up the machines, get in your way and hog the bench you want to use. And they usually have no gym-etiquette. *rolls eyes*
But we know that the crowds will thin by the end of the month and gym life will be almost be back to normal by mid-February.
There are some advantages; sometimes one of the newbies is a hottie.
One of these said creatures (the hottie newbie) we nicknamed "Scruff". Young twenty-something with the scruffy beard and baseball cap working out with this buddy.
I missed the gym yesterday but had dinner later with a friend who did workout. I missed something. Something terrible!
Scruff was there again... (that's him in the picture below)
Do you notice anything weird about it?

Get a closer look at the bottom of the shirt!

WTF??
What is wrong with him? NO ONE does that to their shirt anymore (well, not since the 80's). Nor does someone even buy one, let alone wear it to the gym!
We all did a collective "awwww..." *sad face*
Sadly Scruff doesn't seem that hot anymore.
LOL!

Did you ever see the movie "The Ritz?" The character that Treat Williams played? He was a hottie until.......he opened his mouth. I can't tell you the times that has happened to me Back in the Day when I used to hang out at the bar and spotted a New Face. In my mind (and eye) I pictured something entirely diffent than what I found when I started talking to the hottie. Life is interesting to say the least. By the way, I don't know about fringes on shirts. What is that anyway? I must have missed that in the 70's or 80's. Some kind of fad?
That time of the year gets to me - all of a sudden there's an influx enroaching on my territory - well, I'm being a drama queen - but sometimes I hate sharing my work out space or have to rush to a class just to get a spot - hopefully it will streamline!
I didn't know anybody EVER did that to their shirts. At least not that neatly and uniformly. Is it a Texas thing? ;)
Kinda like it. Maybe scruff is a non conformist who doesn't need to prove anything to anyone. Nothing wrong with a bit of individuality.
I'm with Walt. Maybe this is a Texas thing, because I've never seen anything like it.
Probably owns a Members Only jacket too.
We see the NYE resolutioners here as well. Most of them peter out by February.
One fellow, likes to wear short shorts not seen since the 70s. Oh dear.
