I was hideous!
I scared small children.
People automatically turned their head, lowered their eyes or gave a small gasp when I cracked (literally) a smile.

Well, today I got the permanent crown put on!
YAY!
I can smile again without the dread of frightening someone.

I chipped a tooth last month. Not visible though. Still, I can't keep from touching it all the time with my tongue.
I gotta find a new dentist; mine retired. The other dentist in town broke her arm and is out of commission for a while.
