Columbus Day Stuff

One of my favorite books is about Christopher Columbus. The title is: Pastwatch: The Redemption of Christopher Columbus by Orson Scott Card. You can read about the book here if you want. It's a great historical fiction novel and a great "what if" story. I loved it and highly recommend it.

I had to work today. UGH! It would have been a good day to stay curled up in bed with a good book.

Orson Scott Card is on the board of the National Organization for Marriage and is a nasty homophobe. An example of his bigotry is available at http://www.nauvoo.com/library/card-hypocrites.html

Homer. I know... in part of the book he talks about one of the characters penis, a lot! And a pierced penis too. I believe he is a closet gay.
