Thanx giving

I'm thankful that this holiday is secular and can be celebrated by all people.

I'm thankful that it is a holiday that tries to make us stop in our busy lives to give thanks and to be grateful for all that we have.

I'm thankful for this holiday that makes us appreciate the abundance of food that we have and for friends and family that all gather together around a table to share in the feast.

Today, if you can remember, take a moment during your Thanksgiving dinner to stop and revel in the moment and savor the food. Enjoy the people, the food, the sights, aromas, the sounds of your loved ones happily talking. Forget about what happened yesterday. Don't worry about tomorrow. Fully live in the moment for as long as you can. Raise your glass in a toast to friends that are far away and to your family and loved ones that are no longer here.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Jim,
This the most wonderful Thanksgiving wish I've read this year.
Thank YOU for being a thoughtful poster.
Cheers,
