Happy Ostara!

Happy First Day of Spring and the Vernal Equinox!

I'm afraid there will be no naked dancing around a bonfire tonight as Dallas is getting drenched by a huge rainstorm. Oh well... there is always the weekend! hehehe

I only got to see Erik a few minutes when he and his husbear were here for TBRU. It was a busy weekend for both of us... but at least we got to say hello. The weather was perfect for the bears visiting Dallas and the bar called The Door for the Sunday afternoon beer bust was packed.

I'm bear friendly. I love the bears. A few of my best friends are bears. There was even a time, years ago, when I was a bear. I'm very bear curious. But... I'm not the 'typical' bear, I don't seem to be really accepted by the bears... I don't know why.

Oh well... it was fun anyways.

Jim, happy first day of spring to you too! No nakedness! Now, that is a bummer.

Don't get caught up in the clique nature of our culture. Unfortunately, GLBTQ culture is just as biased as any other part of human culture. If they don't want to accept you it is their loss. Be who you are; be true to yourself. Love yourself and love other people for who they are. I love GLBTQ culture because it is so magnificently diverse.I wish more people could see the beauty in the differences between us. Have a great day!

and a happy spring greeting to you too!

I confess I like my guys to be hairy. I think it's what makes a guy a guy, KWIM? ;-)

I wish we had gotten more time together. :(

I'm not a bear, nor do I feel that I have ever been one. I only go to these events because the Husbear likes them. And I at least get to see my friends when I'm at them. But I'm not a very social person, and I'm definitely not one to match the definition of a bear by any means.
