Photo a day in May - Sexto de Mayo

It was a great day at faire. Very humid, but still very fun.

My friends and I were discussing how it's interesting that a particular outfit you wear gets more attention from people than others. If I'm wearing the red kilt and the suede jacket like I was yesterday I had more people asking to take my picture with them. More than when I wear the blue & green kilt or one of the royal jerkins and baggy pants.

We are off to the Scottish festival this morning where there will be many men in kilts doing manly things like tossing tabors (telephone poles) or throwing weights across the field. If you ever hear of some Scottish Highland games in your area be sure to go! I highly recommend it.
