One of the things I love about music is someone who takes a classic song and does a great remake of it. It's the old familiar music and lyrics, but with a new beat or a new sound.
A few years ago I heard the band Erasure play in a small venue in Dallas. They did the concert this way with their own songs... all remade with different beats and sounds. I wish I could find some of those songs online or on iTunes.
I recently heard this song remade by a favorite jazz artist of mine: Mario Biondi

I vaguely recognize the tune. It was definitely B.E. (before Erik). But the male singer is smoking hot.
